Purpose and scope

Reggae Finder is the mobile ride-information companion for AJTC-enrolled pool and contract riders and their approved family members. It is not a public booking service, driver application, dispatch system, route planner, or emergency service.

This policy applies to the Reggae Finder Release 1.0.0 package identified as com.airjamaicatransit.reggaefinder.

Current release status

Release 1.0.0 is a pre-activation release. It does not connect to an AJTC Transportation Management System, driver application, notification provider, or rider-record service. It does not activate family accounts, provide real-time tracking, or process real rider names, schedules, addresses, locations, trip events, consent records, or support requests.

Accordingly, Reggae Finder Release 1.0.0 does not collect, share, sell, or use personal information through its completed app functions. It contains no advertising and does not use a third-party analytics or advertising SDK for the release functionality.

Future activated service

AJTC will not activate a live ride-information service under this package until it has separately approved the identity provider, family authorization and consent controls, TMS interface and rider-scoped token, security controls, support process, retention schedule, account-deletion process, notification provider, and applicable data-processing terms.

Before an activated service processes personal or trip information, AJTC will publish an updated policy and update its Google Play Data safety disclosures. The updated policy will identify the data categories actually collected, the purpose and legal basis, service providers, retention periods, user rights, deletion process, and applicable jurisdictional information.

If AJTC later activates the service, it will limit an approved family account to the riders for whom AJTC maintains current authorization. Shared-vehicle views will not show other riders’ names, stops, addresses, events, or full route. Vehicle location will be visible only during a permitted tracking window and only when the location is current. Boarding and drop-off will require explicit recorded events; a vehicle position alone will not prove either event.

Security and account deletion

No user account is created in Release 1.0.0, so there is no in-app account or account-deletion request to complete in this release. If you have a question about this policy or believe information has been sent to AJTC in error, contact [email protected].

An updated activated-service policy will describe AJTC’s account and data-deletion request process. That process must revoke active sessions and device credentials promptly, subject only to records AJTC is legally required to retain.

Changes to this policy

AJTC may update this policy when the app’s completed functions or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when a revised policy takes effect.
